LAVERNE CLAYTON nee Fisher
Passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at her daughter’s home after a lengthy illness. She was born in San Bruno on June 13, 1925 and lived there until she moved to S.F. at an early age. Laverne met her childhood sweetheart Alvin Clayton and they were married for 59 years. They moved to Santa Rosa in 1967. She is survived by daughters, Linda ( Roy ) Boyd, Carol (Ron) Kesler; son, Roy Clayton; grandchildren, Jodi (Shawn) DuPlantis, Cheryl (Brett) Fenske and one great-grandson, Colton . Laverne loved to bowl and was in a bowling league with her daughter Carol for 30 years. She loved to gamble and frequently took bus trips to the casinos. Laverne was an avid golfer. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Services and inurnment will be private.
